(Note that these are prompts to give you ideas. Feel free to do something else completely like go shop or be in the apartments!)

SCENARIO 1: Q'S CAR IS NOW NUMBER 1
Well it's been a hell of a ride so far, but you've now found yourself somehow testing one of Q's vehicles.

'Oh, and do try to bring it back in one piece' he said. What are all these buttons again?!

Did you read the manual?...

...wait...

...do you even have a driving license?


SCENARIO 2: A MIDSUMMER'S DAY

The green of the forest beckons you inside. But what will you find in a place that has an acknowledged demon population?

And who can imagine lurks at night...your life may be on the line.

SCENARIO 3: THE SONG WILL BE PLAYING IN YOUR HEAD
13th hour. Although technically the 25th of each day, it is the time when this world seems to change, the entire city turning a shade of dark red, demons coming out, buildings shifting and dangers lurking at every corner.

But it's your job to make this safer. Just be careful of what you run into...


...this is rather confusing. But you've learned not to think that something you see is exactly as it might be. It could be far more dangerous and deadly than it lets on...

...but it is pretty cute.

SCENARIO 4: THIS IS JUST AN ARRIVAL PROMPT
You've arrived into Hinoto-Ri! And wow, the weather is warming right now. Like an early hot breeze in spring. At least it makes you feel more at ease...unless you came here prepared for terrible weather. Sorry! Maybe if you can find someone who knows exactly what is happening, you'll be able to confirm that it wasn't just a dream? Remember the man who said you were here as a special guest! This the city you're supposed to save, so let's find out more about it!

[No worries, Morgan's got this car-driving thing down.

Sure, he's never seen one before today, but the manual is very informative. He's already learned the right pedal makes it go and the wheel makes it turn, much like on a ship's wheel. The next step is to figure out how to stop. Which is why he has the manual propped against the steering wheel, eagerly scanning the pages as the car rolls at an increasingly high speed down a winding hill.

If he has any passengers, they may want to stop him right now. Or rescue him from the airbag when he inevitably crashes into a fire hydrant.]

[Don't mind Kiba and Akamaru, Morgan: they're just tagging along for the ride. Kiba knows even less about automobiles than Morgan does, because he's not interested in reading a manual. He's more of a hands-on type of guy, and if reading's a pre-requisite, Kiba's more than happy to let Morgan take the wheel and do whatever the hell he wants. In fact, Kiba seems far more interested with sticking his head out of the passenger-side window and feeling the wind rush through his hair than anything else.

Considering the car is moving, and moving faster with every second that passes, Morgan seems to be on the right track. ...Even if he's moving off the solid black road a little. But, hey, coloring outside the lines is a mark of independence and tactical genius, right?]

Hey, can't you make this thing go any faster?

[Maybe if Kiba could actually catch the low, distressed whines coming from the dog seated in-between them, he might be showing more concern.

But he's not.

So drive on, Morgan.

Hm?

[Morgan looks up from the book, just in time to adjust the wheel to (mostly) keep them from jumping the curb.] Oh yes, I think so!

[He points to the speed dial.] This arrow shows us how fast we're going. It's pretty amazing... We're only halfway to the limit and we're already going faster than a wyvern or a pegasus!

[keepitcanine]

Yeah? [Kiba can't say he's ridden either before. But he knows how fast dogs go, and can judge it's significantly faster than that.] Cool.

[He didn't even bother to look at the speedometer, or whatever it was that Morgan just pointed at. He's not interested in knowing how fast the car can actually go, so much as experiencing it for himself. Being inside the car seems to be pretty counterproductive to that particular idea, so Kiba's already out of his seatbelt (if he was even wearing one in the first place) and twisting his body around until he's climbing out the passenger-side window and pulling himself onto the roof of the car, focusing chakra into his palms and the soles of his feet, the chakra proving to be a suitable and steady anchor, and not at all as hard as it might look.

Feels pretty awesome, actually.]

Just, uh, don't slow down or anything, I guess.

Don't worry about that, I still don't know how!

[which isn't the most confidence-inspiring statement, but... Kiba's already on the roof. Oh well.

Morgan speaks to the dog instead.] Just you and me now, huh?

In the distance horse hooves against the ground can be heard as a blonde man on a black horse can be seen chasing after the out of control car.

"Press the stop pedal!"

"Wow, your horse is pretty fast!"

Morgan that's not the point here. The car is continuing to pick up speed as it rolls down the hill. "And I haven't found the stop pedal yet!"

[trombeoverride]

"Its next to the go faster one!"

The mysterious gourmet grits his teeth and urges Trombe onward, trying to move so he can jump onto the car to get the thing to stop.

Could you slow down some? This is getting a little dangerous...

[And why does this boy look so familiar???]

[Morgan takes a look out the window, and quickly jerks the wheel to avoid a signpost.] It is getting harder to steer. Right, I'll slow down as soon as I find out how!

[which means going back to the book.

'a little dangerous' would be his middle name, if he had a middle name... or a last name.]

[No time for that!]

Try the pedal to the left of the accelerator.

[...Then again, this is a Q creation. Who knows what else he changed.]

To the left? [He has to look under the dashboard, causing another near miss] I see it!

[He stomps on it.

The car doesn't stop. Instead, a missile shoots and obliterates the tree they were heading directly towards at the bottom of the hill.] ...Well, at least we're not going to hit that anymore...

[Damit, Q.]

...Uh... you concentrate on steering, I'll find out where the brakes are!

[If you don't mind, could you pass the manual...?]

[ Yeah.... yeeeah..... Robin's clutching onto a book for dear life.... ]

Shouldn't you have read how it works before we started?

[ Just... just you know.

Actually, that's not too helpful at the moment, is it? ]

Actually she has a good point, but still] Learning something through doing it can be more effective though, Mother! ...And I didn't think it would get this fast when when started.

[He laughs, still not looking as concerned as he should be. But at least she's got him to realize that reading and steering really isn't practical. With that thought, he passes the book back to her, making the ride moderately safer.] Can you figure out what makes us stop?

A-All right. Got it. [ She starts flipping through the book. A table of contents? Index? ] Just make sure we don't crash until then!

[tipthescales]

Don't worry, I think I've gotten the hang of this! It turns a lot faster than a cart or a ship can.

[But true to his word, the car is moving in a straighter line as they continue down the hill. It's just not inside the lines. He doesn't know the rules of the road.]

[ Hey there little bro. Lucina may or may not be regretting this entire "let's go on a drive!" thing. Maybe she should have asked if he knew how to drive. But to be fair, he looked really excited, and she couldn't say no, you know?

... But she really wishes she did. ] Er... Morgan? A-are you sure we can't slow down? [ Because they're going reeeally fast. ]

[Of course he's excited, the car is shiny and interesting and maybe it would have some kind of strategic value. Just imagine if their knights had these instead of horses!]

I'm sure we can, but I haven't figured out how yet. Just give me a minute! [aren't you super confident in your brother right now, Lucina?]

[tolight]

[ But then how would they be able to attack, Morgan? They can't swing their sword outside the window... ]

I'm not sure if we have a minute to sp-- In front of you! [ If he manages to steer away from that squirrel that just ran onto the road, she'll have more confidence. Promise. ]

[tipthescales]

I see him! [Somehow. But he reacts in time. Morgan tilts the wheel to the left wildly which avoids the squirrel, but takes them in a wide circle that runs over the curb on the opposite side of the road. However, the car seems undamaged, and it also gives him a bright idea. He continues holding the wheel left, bringing the car into a tight U-turn that starts them going back up the hill.] And now we have a minute.

[tolight]

[ That turn has her entire body shifting outward, and Lucina grits her teeth, gripping on the door to keep her balance. But that's one disaster averted, and to be fair, they're going much slower, now. So that's a good thing, right?

She takes a moment to catch her breath, while giving Morgan time to look through the manual. Once said moment passes: ] Have you figured out how to stop?

[ Oh, and - Lucina doesn't know any more about cars than Morgan does. For all I know they can be driving up the middle of the road.]

Nope! [.......]

But, I figure if we get to the top of the hill and don't go for a while, it'll stop on its own. [he may not know cars, but at least he knows a little about physics.]

[ ................

Okay. The next part sounds a little more assuring, at least. ] I suppose that would be an option, yes. [ So now they're playing the waiting game. And Lucina's crossing her fingers so they don't go backwards, or something. ]

... Morgan, how did you manage to get this kind of vehicle?

An old man came up to me and said that he needed my help testing it. ...In hindsight, I probably should've asked him more about how it works.

[but their army has a history of helping sketchy old men with questionable requests! far be it from him to refuse this one...]
