PROMPT 1: Beyond the City Dome
Silence.

It's unusal, like this place is entirely devoid of life around you. Outlines of burned and cindered buildings fill your line of view as far as the eye can see, as dust easily gets in your lungs. What few of plants are around are little and malnourished.

You see the outlines of a city far ahead of you in what looks like a giant clear bubble, but the walk will be long and tedious. Remembering what the butterfly-masked man you talked with said you were here as a Special Guest. If this is the city you're supposed to save, then why the hell are you so far away from it? Urgh, maybe something went wrong. Time to start exploring on your own and slowly head there. It seems to be your only hope...

Wait. What was that loud noise nearby?

NOTE: If you pick this prompt, please make sure it's marked clearly on your post as mods may tag this as well.

PROMPT 2: The 13th hour
The 13th hour.

Because of some unforeseen event, it now extends twice as long, the monsters going more vicious each passing day.

You are the resistance. You bump back what attacks the populace at night, their last hope. The world seems to change under the blood red sky - the entire city tinted in its glow, as demons emerge from the shadows, buildings shift and dangers lurk in every corner.

Hope you're prepared. Just be careful of what you run into --

Ahh...this might be a little trickier than normal.

PROMPT 3: A simple drive in a car
They told you about the gadgeteer, Q. Truth be told, you didn't expect him to ask you anything, but he needs a guinea pig no seriously guinea pig to test out his newest vehicle. It's the 13th Hour, and the night sky above is stained red. He looks at you before you start driving.

"Now do be careful. I've installed all sorts of weapons inside the old girl. If you could bring it back in one piece?"

No problem, you think, before you realize you have no idea what all these buttons do. Now what?

...Wait. ...Do you even have a driving license......?

PROMPT 4: A suspicious note...
A city like no other...Ahh Hinoto-Ri. City of lights, questionable Wards, the 13th Hour and Personas. A city that requires your aid in saving it, but sometimes in the strangest of ways...

Japanese school may be rather different for you, but you've been adjusting! However, something unexpected gets dropped desk (or foot locker) today.

Hmmm. This might be, well it would depend what type of person you are, actually. But the question is, how do you react? And most importantly, who do you accuse?

[ ... Well this is kind of bizarre. This entire thing was a little strange, really. He never thought he'd end up called to actually take an active role in anything again; he supposes he should be grateful, but he can't help feeling this is a bit unfair... for everyone else in the world, that is. His role for that kinda thing had long run its course, hadn't it? Perhaps this was his Master's way of testing him. It's not strange by any means, if you've lived in the Velvet Room for long enough, the strangest things become commonplace, but...

Well.

... It's odd to be back in civilization, mostly. Mundane is now extraordinary. ... Instead of worrying about this, though, he's just found himself in front of a Takoyaki stand. But does he want Takoyaki, or should he eat somewhere else? He hasn't had a chance like this in ages, he isn't about to use it poorly. ]

...

[ He's... hungry... IT LOOKS SO GOOD... bother the strangely-dressed young man as he agonizes over his decision? ]

Sidonia Nicot (OC) | Final Fantasy XIV | Prompt 1

[personal profile] summonthewill 2014-06-01 08:12 pm (UTC)(link)
[ For a moment, she was almost convinced that she was but in another part of Thanalan with how much dust and the scent of charred plants and stone. Yet when she caught a glimpse of the destroyed buildings, she was all but certain that was not the case. The aetheric pulse that she learned to pick up and read as a young arcanist was different as well, as though something had choked it at the source.

It would be difficult to pull from its flow for backup, as would it be to utilize its strength for healing. Typical. Mayhap she should simply switch to her stardust rod for now and-

Sidonia turns her head in the direction of a sudden noise, tome in one hand and quill in the other. Oddly enough, however, her eyes do not focus on anything in particular as she seems to squint in order to see. ]

Show yourself. [ One might not be glad if they do not. ]

Emma Swan | Once Upon A Time | Own Prompt ([Video])

[personal profile] saviormom 2014-06-02 03:38 am (UTC)(link)
[Waking up in Hinoto-Ri has been... frustrating, to say the least. Emma's no stranger to traveling to different worlds, but oh, how she wishes she could claim otherwise. Every time things seem to calm down and she can finally enjoy just being with... with her family, some new 'bad guy' tries to start trouble.

Is this just what it's like to be part of the fairytale world? Nothing but tales and no real happy ending?

What's even more frustrating than being stuck here (because the Phileman- or whatever his name is- has made it clear that she has some great destiny here) is that she hopes find someone from Storybrooke. Or... their world, anyway. A familiar face would do wonders for her right now. Henry isn't here, she's already asked around, but someone else, maybe. What if they have different names here? ...No, that's not how it works here, right? No more curses to take away their memories?

She decides to enlist the help of the network, even if she does feel incredibly silly doing so. The feed shows a woman with long blonde hair, a leather jacket and a rather frustrated demeanor.]

Hey, uhm... This is going to sound weird, okay? I know it'll sound weird and some of you may think I'm crazy, but... Bear with me, okay?

I'm looking... [She trails off hesitantly, her lips drawn into a thin line. Then she braces herself and attempts a wry smile.] I'm looking for people from the Enchanted Forest. Fairy tale characters. Uhm... Snow White, Prince Charming- Well, I guess his name is David- or was it James back there? [She frowns, then waves an impatient hand.] Snow's husband, anyway. Or Red, Robin Hood, Mulan, Aurora... Even Rumplestiltskin will do. ...He might be going by the name of Gold here.

Just... [She produces another exasperated sigh, because she knows full well how crazy that sounds.] If anyone knows something, get back to me, okay?

Eyes Rutherford (Asgard Eventide AU) | Spiral: The Bonds of Reasoning | Prompt 1

[personal profile] seeksblessings 2014-06-03 07:02 pm (UTC)(link)
[He's almost had enough of strange entities telling him to save a city, save existence, even if it's honestly only been twice. But that was twice too many, and being placed this far from the city he was supposedly meant to save was an inconvenience to say the least. Whether the personal conversation with the Butterfly Man was better than a note from a faceless maid in a grey world was better is up for debate when he has to make the trek.

And so he begins the walk there, ignoring the familiarity of the situation while his senses remain hyper-vigilant. The city was not the same, it wasn't the stronghold of the gods he had been living within the last two years, but seeing such a desolate land was no less comforting. It couldn't be, devoid as life as it was...

Then the noise rang loudly and he half-turns to it sharply, fingers flexing in anticipation. He was in no rush to be caught vulnerable again.]
