▼ A city like no other...

Ahh Hinoto-Ri. City of lights, questionable Wards, the 13th Hour and Personas. A city that requires your aid in saving it, but sometimes in the strangest of ways...

▼ SCENARIO 1: A note to remember

Japanese school may be rather different for you, but youève been adjusting! However, something unexpected gets dropped desk (or locker) today.



Hmmm. This might be, well it would depend what type of person you are, actually. But the question is, how do you react? And most importantly, who do you accuse?

▼ SCENARIO 2: Dolphins in the sky with diamonds

You've heard the rumors, but never seen them before.



Hinoto-Ri's fabled flying dolphins. Are they friend or foe? Do you want to try riding one? Or will you just let the majestic creatures continue undaunted? Whatever happens, that is up to you.

▼ SCENARIO 3: What do all these buttons do?!

They told you about Q's . Truth be told, you didn't expect him to ask you for this, but he needs a guinia pig guinia pig to test out his newest vehicle. It's the 13th hour, and the night above is stained red. He looks at you before you start driving.

"Now do be careful. I've installed all sorts of weapons inside the old girl. If you could bring it back in one piece?"

No proble, you think, before you realize you have no idea what all these buttons do. Now what?

...wait...

...do you even have a driving license?

▼ SCENARIO 4: A Night in Hinoto-Ri

13th hour. Although technically the 25th of each day, it is the time when this world seems to change, the entire city turning a shade of dark red, demons coming out, buildings shifting and dangers lurking at every corner.

But it's your job to make this safer. Just be careful of what you run into-- WHAT.

You're not sure what to do about this one. What is that thing?

▼ SCENARIO 5: City Life

It's getting colder with each day. The nights are getting longer, which the demons seem to life, but it makes the city that more dangerous. Of course you wouldn't exactly know that because you just got here.

Maybe if you can find someone who knows exactly what is happening, you'll be able to confirm that it wasn't just a dream. Remember, the man who you talked with (the butterfly mask guy?) said you were here as a special guest. If this IS the city you're supposed to save maybe he should have given you a map or something. Time to start exploring on your own...

Would using someone from earlier in canon as a persona be a wise move, yes/no/wtf is your canon even?

It has actually been done before! Example: Ciel Phantomhive from Black Butler had his own parents as a Persona.

In other words, go for it!

So I think I have an idea what this girl's persona will be, but I can't figure out an Arcana for her. Any ideas? XD;

Sorry for the lateness in responding to this, we've had some Internet hiccups and various things preventing us from getting to things as quickly as we otherwise might be able to.

Based on what I know of Reimu's personality and looking at the arcana list, I'm going to say I'd go with either Priestess, Justice, Fortune, or Strength. Priestess because of her spiritual nature and powers, Justice due to the fact that she's often the one who has to come in and arbitrate problems with youkai in Gensokyo, Fortune due to her propensity to be drawn into things even when she's not trying to be (as well as finding herself where she needs to be at the appropriate time to deal with problems), and Strength because of her fearless nature, determination, and her control over her considerable abilities.

What Persona are you thinking of using, out of curiosity? That choice can often color the choice of Arcana as well when you've got several in mind.

Hello! I'm interested in applying for Izaya Orihara from Durarara (I actually just posted his reserve today orz) and I need a bit of help finalizing his Arcana/Persona skill set! For his persona, I was thinking something like a trickster god and ultimately settled for Crow/Waa Wahn? but I wasn't sure how to set the skills up?

As for Arcana, I was teetering between Magician and Reversed Hierophant? I'm leaning more towards Magician but I'd like your opinions on this? His account is over at corvida.

She sat her desk, nervously holding a pencil. She didn't know what to answer. Who sent this note anyway? She just... wanted to know who it was.

Someone help the poor girl out, who looks like she's going to bite straight through her lip in thought. ]

Scenario 3

Flynn has seen Relics like this in piled wrecks around Tokyo, but he's never been inside one before, much less a working one with so many controls!

He looks down at the controls. Thankfully, the very small labels are written in a script similar to what they use in Mikado.

He tentatively hovers his finger over the button that seems to say 'Start'.

And look who's being so helpful with aiding you!

"Are you sure you can do this?"

Okay, not so very helpful. More like grumpy and not very helpful.

The voice shocks him a bit. Fortunately, not enough to hit the button.

Flynn thinks for a moment. It can't be harder than the COMP or a horse.

He nods and decisively presses the Start....

WHEEEEE! There he goes.

... Was he wearing that seat belt?

Scenario 1

[There was no reason not to attend classes again, even in a new city. She does very well, even if it's not exactly what she wants to be doing.

But some of the other students can be...well...

She's at her locker at the end of the day, and there's a pink envelope with a heart sticker holding the flap closed. Naoto frowns, sighs, and peeks inside, hopeful that maybe it wasn't what it looked like.

No, no, it's another note from an admirer. No return name or anything like that, either. Which of the girls could this one be from, this time? She had a small list of suspects.

She shakes her head softly, and opens her briefcase-like black bag. Hopefully she could just slip the note in without anyone noticing.]

[Fortunately (?!) Kanji was still pretty oblivious to those things.]

Hey Naoto! ...what's with that fancy letter?

[Well not completely oblivious not to notice the envelope, but at least he wasn't assuming things right away. It was probably for the best.]

[This is not awkward at all, no. She hates lying, too. Ugh. Well. Maybe he can help. It's almost (?) a mystery, and she's curious, anyway. At the very least, she would be able to write a polite reply to whoever it was that left the note.]

[She looks into her bag for where she stuffed the envelope.]

Scenario 5 with a dash of 3

[Okay, so alternate universes are kind of a standard procedure for Wally at this point. 'Kind of', because this one wasn't purposefully entered.

He's tried calling the Watchtower, several times, as well as the other members of the League. No dice. So he's running around Hinoto-Ri in a blur, looking for someone who looks like they might know what's going on. Thankfully, he's found someone - a red and yellow streak skids to a halt in front of them before he opens his mouth.]

Okay, I'm not sure where I am but there's something about a 'persona' stuck in my head like a bad pop song, and I can't contact my friends and I think I saw a flying dolphin when I was running around town--what's up with this place?

[And here's a character with one of the slowest minds. Sig stares at The Flash with a blank look on his face.]

...Huh.

[And immediately Wally slumps and sighs.]

I wasn't talking that fast, was I? I'm pretty sure I was talking normal speed.

Scenario 4

[Her job to make the city a safer place? Pram could care less about that. Right now, though, she was having trouble registering whether this creature was some kind of feline or some stupid prince from some sorry kingdom or whatever. She has seen some absurd things in her travels to other dimensions and Netherworlds, but this creature was something else.]

What in the Netherworld are you supposed to be, some kind of sorry-ass emperor who got cursed into a kitty's body?

Next to Pram, Desco just blinks and offers her own opinion.

"Desco thinks it looks more like a doggy."

"Ugh, whatever it is, it's so stupid-looking." Pram replied, flicking her hair away. "Well, not as stupid as Prinnies..."

Scenario 2

(Once upon a time, such a sight might've left the girl watching in wonder...but after dealing with so many Noise, such variety in animals and monsters didn't faze her anymore. Her first instinct went towards how violent they were and how many were killed or hurt because of them...but given their little interest in the people, Kreutzer settled on the idea that they were proximity-based: if you didn't get too close to them, they wouldn't bother you.

With a frown, the reaper tugged her cloak tighter around herself, the black, skeletal wings on her back giving a light flutter. There were definitely many differences to this world, things so different about this shift in setting that set itself apart from the previous shifts. What about the others who were with her last week? What about Shibuya?

She sighed, returning her attention to the dolphins as they proceeded onwards without a care in the world. Whatever their purpose, simply observing them at least brought a hint of relief to the girl. This is quite a nice city, after all...)

[OKAY SO she's been slowly getting used to interacting with people. It's not like she's found a way home yet, and working at the inn for Nano has been helping her nerve as well.

So basically, Xion's going to manage to gather up the nerve to talk to this person! Who for all she knows might be lost.]

(In some ways, she is lost...on other ways, she's right on track. It's a confusing metaphorical mess, really; best not to dwell on it right now.

Besides, there's not much interest in that when the girl hears that familiar voice. She glances over at Xion, then back at the dolphins.)

About as lost as I was before this city...then again, we were all at least partially lost there. I suppose that's something else that also made the trip.

Things must be calmer for you here than back in the game.

Scenario 3

Luigi is used to strange sciencey-types shoving gadgets in his hands with nary a question asked. He's also no stranger to being behind the wheel. Indeed, one could say that if a certain someone wasn't so bent on spamming Rosalina and Daisy he was a fairly decent driver. And certainly, being on a road full of dangers was nothing new to him.

What was new to him was that these dangers were full-fledged, terrifying monsters, which may explain why the hood of Q's car is now at one with a tree. Reports say that the culprit fled and is still fleeing the scene, and can be heard screaming, "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
