▼ A city like no other...

Ahh Hinoto-Ri. City of lights, questionable Wards, the 13th Hour and Personas. A city that requires your aid in saving it, but sometimes in the strangest of ways...

▼ SCENARIO 1: Teenbeat Magazine!

Today, you're browsing through the recently received news when you see the following message pop up on the screen:

Readers at home, we asked you and the results are in!!! Our semi-finalists for hottest, sexiest, cutest Visitors in - now with both ~Male~ and ~Female~ editions!!!!!

Naturally, upon scrolling down, you see a picture of yourself in nothing but your swimwear. And almost immediately, it seems there are people on the street beginning to glance in your direction...

▼ SCENARIO 2: Dolphins in the sky with diamonds

You've heard the rumors, but never seen them before.

Hinoto-Ri's fabled flying dolphins: are they friend or foe? Do you want to try riding one? Or will you just let the majestic creatures continue past undaunted? Whatever happens, be prepared for your life to be changed forever!!!

▼ SCENARIO 3: What do all these buttons do?!

They told you about Q's . Truth be told, you didn't expect him to ask you for this, but he needs a ~~guinea pig~~ no seriously guinea pig to test out his newest vehicle. It's the 13th Hour, and the night sky above is stained red. He looks at you before you start driving.

"Now do be careful. I've installed all sorts of weapons inside the old girl. If you could bring it back in one piece?"

No problem, you think, before you realize you have no idea what all these buttons do. Now what?

...Wait.

...Do you even have a driving license......?

▼ SCENARIO 4: A Night in Hinoto-Ri

The 13th hour. Although technically the 25th hour of each day, it is the time when the world seems to change - the entire city turns a shade of dark red, demons emerge from the shadows, buildings shift and dangers lurk in every corner.

But it's your job to make this safer. Just be careful of what you run into --

Oh OK a giant sentient foot awesome.

▼ SCENARIO 5: Arrival

It's getting colder with each passing day. The nights are getting longer, which the demons seem to like, but it makes the city that more dangerous. Of course you wouldn't exactly know that because you just got here.

Maybe if you can find someone who knows exactly what is happening, you'll be able to confirm that it wasn't just a dream. Remember, the man you talked with (butterfly-mask guy?) said you were here as a Special Guest. If this is the city you're supposed to save, maybe he should have given you a map or something. Time to start exploring on your own...

At the very least, he still had the Haro that helped him pilot the Dynames. The little robot flapped its ear flaps, but didn't say anything. Neil just kept walking, carrying the robot under an arm. He trusted it to warn him if anyone came up on his blind side, as always.

They could have stayed with the gundam, but he felt it would be a wiser bet to leave it behind, security level set on high and linked to the Haro for constant monitoring. Hadn't he just had his target locked on...? No. He couldn't think about what was and what should be.

"Why are we here again, Haro?"

"An excellent question."

The girl in the white costume hovers beside him with her legs crossed as if she's been there the whole time.

"Some people say the purpose of human existence is to attain happiness. Some say it's to bring happiness to others." A short pause. "I think you're here because you took a left at that last street corner just now."

"Cute robot."

She very well could have been there for a while, seeing as the Haro did nothing to tell him had company until she complimented it. "Cute! Haro cute!" As for Neil? He turned his head quickly to compensate, taking in her appearance and the fact she wasn't standing.

That was different. But he forced a bit of a smile, steps slowing to properly face her. He chuckled good-naturedly, smile settling more comfortably. "So maybe I should have turned right instead of left."

Happiness? That wasn't his purpose for himself. But she didn't need to know that. "Don't mind Haro, he's a bit full of himself sometimes."

"It's so nice to see some civilization around here." Phantom Girl beams and reaches forward to give Haro a pat. "Whenever I talk about future stuff, everyone starts staring like I have two heads. It gets old pretty fast."

The girl unfolds her legs now and touches down gently on the ground.

"So why were you actually asking that question just now?"

The little basketball-like robot's earflaps moved again at the pat. The human shifted his hold on the Haro, balancing it in both hands. "I think he likes you."

Oh good, standing on two feet was appreciated. Neil stood at ease, head tilted just a little to his right. "Two heads? Funny, I only see one."

He straightened and offered a slight shrug of a shoulder. "Doesn't everyone talk to their robots?"

"I probably would if I had a robot. ...But I don't. ...And also my robot would be programmed to only say things like, 'Phantom Girl have I mentioned your hair is extra luscious today' and 'Phantom Girl you've been voted Universe's Best Superhero again for the 10th year in a row' which would be nice, but not very helpful."

Phantom Girl also seems to be under the 'nice, but not very helpful' category.

That was fine. It was better than running into someone the direct opposite. He grinned a bit, letting her ramble and trail off on her own. "I'm getting the feeling you're called Phantom Girl. Nice to meet you, I'm Lockon."

Don't mind the harmless not pirate guy with a robot and eye patch over his right eye.

"Your feeling would be right. ...And I have a feeling I'm suddenly not the only one with a code-name in this town." She examines him with a critical eye. "...If you're going to have a superhero name, you should dress the part more."

Shura groaned in annoyance. It was not the first time she was being stared at, especially in the evening, when out in full tattoos for a run. It was however the first time she had been stared at because she had been selected "Sexiest Overall Visitor", so tonight not only the Pyro Jacks were rolling on the floor in laughter but the humans she ran past stare intently as she passed. Goddammit. And now that she was stopped to take a breather she had attracted a bit of a staring crowd.

"Fuckin' Hell, leave me alone! I just got voted in because I'm shirtless! I'm not that hot!"

As if getting caught with his hand stuck down the cookie jar, the man in the denim overalls and green shirt and hat looks away bashfully, his hands crossed behind his back and his foot rubbing against the ground.

He wasn't ogling her. It's just...those tattoos!

And also the lack of shirt...

"Seriously, it's like you've all never seen a girl before!!!" she continues with a glare that embraces the whole audience. "Go to the red lights district or something!"

...surprisingly, the dark pink pony in the driver's seat actually seems to have some familiarity with how cars work.

She's still not very good at driving, mind, but just the fact that she seems to know what she's doing is...probably a step up from the kind of people Q normally gets to do this.

Hilda found herself waking up very confused by her dream. It wasn't just the fact that there was a strange guy with a butterfly-mask but that he stated she was a Special Guest and that this city needed saving. From what? He never told her. How was she suppose to save it if she had no clue what to save it from?

Better yet, how did she know it wasn't just a dream? Well, first of all, she knows she's no longer in Unova so she'd be too stupid to think that it was a simple, everyday dream with no meaning whatsoever. Second of all, well, she hasn't figured that one out yet. She supposes exploring might answer that one.

And so here she is, looking at the new city she is in and noting how it doesn't look like it needs that much saving. "So, what did he mean?" she asked herself. She looked at the people walking by, debating between asking them or not. But what would she even ask? 'Excuse me, do you know what this butterfly-masked man meant in my dream? Why does this city need saving?' Yeah, like that'd go over well... Couldn't he had given her instructions on that, too? She's so frustrated!

Luigi is used to strange sciencey-types shoving gadgets in his hands with nary a question asked. He's also no stranger to being behind the wheel. Indeed, one could say that he was a fairly decent driver. And certainly, being on a road full of dangers was nothing new to him.

What was new to him was that these dangers were full-fledged, terrifying monsters, which may explain why the hood of Q's car is now at one with a tree. Reports say that the culprit fled and is still fleeing the scene, and can be heard screaming, "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

(Scenario 1)

[The contents of the message come as a pleasant surprise. The immediate stares are even more pleasant. Finally people are recognizing that Charlie is awesome.]

Yeah, that's me in that magazine. Who wants an autograph?

(Scenario 4)

[Misfit is on patrol around her new city of Hinoto-Ri. The city needs her like, really badly, it needs a superhero. She's already met a few heroes in her time here but they were completely lame. Not like her, she is a great hero, she is awesome.

Suddenly one of the city's monsters appears. This one looks to be some sort of giant foot. Not the most prestigious of opponents, but still one that needs to be put down.]

Alright, foot monster get ready for some dark vengeance!

[Misfit has an audience for her duel with the foot. Akane is juuust above the new age limit for patrolling the streets alone. She seems to have the whole thing well in hand, but Akane figures it can't hurt to make sure. She]

Hey, are you okay? Do you need help?

[That is a pretty big foot, after all.]

[Since the giant foot does not appear to be going anywhere, Misfit bounces in front of this new arrival.]

Yeah I would totally be down for a team up. Who are you?

[Excited and pleased to not hear 'Are you out here alone, little girl?' Akane smiles brightly.]

Sure! I bet we can take that thing down easily!

[She's confident in her persona.]

I'm Akane. What's your name?

You can call me Misfit. I can't say any more than that because I have to stay mysterious. All right let's get this thing.

[Without waiting for Akane's response Misfit teleports back into battle landing a punch on the giant foot.]

Where do you think a giant foot's weak spot is?

[Akane is impressed. Misfit seems really strong. Not wanting to disappoint her new friend, Akane summons her persona.

And then takes a wild guess at the weak point.]

Maybe the heel? Like Achilles?

[But lets try some zionga, while we're at it.]

[Misfit jumps back, dodging the lightning strike.]

Hey, warn me when you're gonna do that OK?

Sorry! How about this? Satukaja!

[Misfit will find her attack, defense, and agility doubled for a short time. Akane has to take a step back though, that spell is exhausting.]

[The burst of power is amazing. This must be what it's like to be Big Barda or Superman.]

Thanks for that.

[Brimming with confidence thanks to her new strength Misfit delivers a punch to the foot's heel causing it to flinch.]

I think we have it on the ropes.

...I'll pass.

[Fumi knows this magazine is a load of tabloid crap anyway.]

Are you sure? It could be like really valuable one day cause I'm going to be the best superhero in this city!

They pick four or five completely random people to print these articles about every month for no reason whatsoever. This is nothing special.

[Misfit stares blankly at Fumi for a moment before regaining her chipper composure.]

Yeah well featuring me will be the thing to this rag around. I mean I'm going to be Batgirl one day.

[Her eyes widen after she realizes what she's said.]

Not Batgirl, I mean someone else. Crap Charlie, secret identity much?

...You're actually serious about this, aren't you?

Yeah, I'm serious. There's no reason to sound so skeptical about it. I'm great at what I do.

And what you do is fight crime.
