A few words to describe your canon: Japanese history meets Gurren Lagann-levels of ridiculously awesome things, including punching matches of love, a Gundam, and BURNING SOUL. Though in this case, the AU is set in modern times with the gang reincarnated. So not as ridiculous, but shenanigans are still had nevertheless.

A few words to describe your character: While slightly aloof at first, Masamune does exude a bit of an aura of confidence around him, and once you get past his cocky, brash exterior and the Blood Knight tendencies, you realize he's actually a really nice guy. The last one's a bit toned down in the AU version, but he still enjoys a good challenge. (Also his OU self can use up to six katana at a time, three in each hand. Yes. This is a thing. No, it makes no sense but it is AWESOME.)

Anything we should know about them? His Persona is his past self's steed, which inexplicably has tailpipes and motorcycle handles for reins. We only can surmise it's for the badass factor. Oh also jsyk in the OU, Masamune has a habit of inserting random Engrish into his everyday speech. (I kid you not.) If you see a random phrase italicized in a network or log tag, it's more often than not that quirk rearing its head.

What you'd like to do with them: ALL THE CR. Seriously I would love to get friends, rivals, anything going with him since he's brand-new. This kid is not afraid to get in someone's face if he has to.

i don't know this canon at all but you had me at Gurren Lagann levels of ridiculous. i'm not sure how they could meet but Lea's always up for some shenanigans. :D

CAPCOM made it, so it's only to be expected that it's ridiculous. 8Db There's also been comparison between Masamune and Dante from DMC, to the point where people have jokingly called him Dante Masamune. Doesn't help that in the English version of the 3rd game, he's voiced by Reuben Langdon. WHOOPS.

But hey we can make it work somehow! I'm actually pretty excited to see how this all goes with him.

He is the voice for Dante, honestly. ;; part of the reason the reboot hurts my soul a bit is because it means we won't see him voicing Dante anymore.

Currently he's more or less just wandering around to get a decent idea of the layout of the city - though his network intro post has him playing a table-flipping game at the arcade if Lea wants to either marvel and/or "WTF" at it. :')

I admit, I have a type. But I'm still looking forward to this and using it as a bit of a springboard to flesh out his AU.
