SCENARIO 1
Well it's been a hell of a ride so far, but you've now found yourself somehow testing one of Q's vehicles.

'Do try to bring it back in one piece' he said. What are all these buttons again?! Did you read the manual?...

SCENARIO 2
Nyx's bar in the Taurus bar is quite possibly the most famous landmark in the area, which is perhaps a dubious thing in the Red Light District.

How you got here is irrelevant, you're going in whether you want to or not.

As you do, the music is making you realize that the combination of partying demons and humans makes for a very strange atmosphere...as long as you're legal, there shouldn't be any problems.

SCENARIO 3
13th hour. Although technically the 25th of each day, it is the time when this world seems to change, the entire city turning a shade of dark red, demons coming out, buildings shifting and dangers lurking at every corner.

But it's your job to make this safer. Just be careful of what you run into...



...This can't be good.


SCENARIO 4
You've arrived into Hinoto-Ri! The snow is slowly starting to melt, but it's still rather cold. Maybe if you can find someone who knows exactly what is happening...Maybe it's just a dream? But...you remember the man who said you were here as a special guest...don't you? Is this the city you're supposed to save?

Deis, honestly couldn't care how she got into Nyx's bar. She didn't care that she'd never heard that kind of music before and she most definitely didn't care about the weird clientele either.

Well that last one was mainly because she's half snake, honestly you stop judging when everything from the waist down is snakey town. That and living for thousands and thousands of years.

That's when people like Deis start caring about the important things. Like who is going to get her another drink!

"Hey cutie," she shouts over the music, grabbing some random, hopefully male, passer-by. "Want to buy a goddess a drink~?"

Oh my god, people roleplay Deis. This is amazing.

Yu let out a confused noise, almost losing his grip on his dufflebag. He looked her up and down, eyes lingering longer on her chest than her snake half. Either way, it almost didn't seem like he really seemed bothered by either.

"Sorry, I need to get ready for work," he replied.

yes, yes people do.

Be glad she wears that... vest thing. It's the only thing keeping her from being naked as a newborn.

That and certain prudes she's known over the years.

ANYWAY, Deis frowns at Yu's answer as she pulls him closer.

"I'm sure your boss wouldn't mind you being a little late, boy." Her eyes are narrowed and her voice low, dammit she wants a drink and this cute boy will buy it for her.

Yu let out a surprised noise as he was pulled closer. Really, he's not bothered by the... very gifted chest, nor does the tail bother him. He's pretty much used to seeing strange things. What he wasn't used to was... well, what looked like someone hitting on him for a drink before he put on the dress for his act.

"You don't know my boss..." he cautioned. Pretty sure Nyx would be linefacing at this scene. Or taking pictures. He wasn't sure which.

Yu, Yu. Don't worry about your boss, worry about your girlfriend possibly seeing this cause Deis? Is going to try something daring.

And try to pull Yu so he's face first in her chest. It's worked on many a Ryu before, so let's see how this goes.

"Ah who cares~? Your boss would probably be happy at keeping a customer like me around," she says, giving poor Yu a slight pat on the head now. Her point being... she drinks like a fish, and is already about five drinks in by the time Yu showed up.

...well, that's certainly never happened before. Yu flailed in surprise, suddenly way closer to a woman's boobs than he'd ever had any right being. Please, please don't let Yukiko walk in right now...

He tried to let out a protest, but all that came out was a muffled, "Mmmfff!"

Welcome to life with Deis then, Yu. As she laughs at his muffled cry, letting go of him and giving his head another pat.

It seems like that was just a big old joke to her.

"So, boy, how about that drink?" She asks, again, pretty sure he's already late so he totally should get her a drink.

Yu let out an exasperated noise, his shoulders slumping.

"F-fine..." he muttered. Anything to have her not do that again.

There's that laugh again, as she moves back to settle at her table, curled up on her coils since... Chairs are actually really hard to sit in like this.

"Thanks, cutie." Yup, she just called him cutie. "I'm not picky about my drinks either so you don't even have to think to hard about it."

Yu bit back a sigh as he dropped into a chair across from her, raising a hand for one of the waiters around. The waiter paused, giving Yu a sympathetic look, before going off to get that drink for Deis.

You love it. Or at least Deis loves it, she hasn't gotten to get a cute guy to buy her a drink in forever.

And she saw that look, waiter. Yu might catch Deis making a face at the waiter as they left before her attention is fully on him once more.

"So..." She seems, serious now. Which is odd considering how she was acting mere moments ago, and the fact that she's in Nyx's. "Just what is going on in this place, hm?"

"Hinoto-Ri?" Yu asked, just to clarify that she was talking about the city in general. "We're still trying to figure that out, honestly."

Because he was still wondering if being in this place was their choice or not. And then there was the whole issue with the government and the Anoli, and the 13th Hour, and the monsters, and...

...there was a lot going on.

"Yes, that." Like hell she's going to try and say the name of the city, she'd probably mangle it up. "Oh dear, I thought that masked fellow was a bit too vague for my liking."

Deis huffs and looks a bit sulky, how is she a 'goddess' again? She looks more like a pouty child really.

"How disappointing. It's better when we're all given a clear goal. Like "Stop the Goddess of Destruction", "Go kill God" and things like that."

"The truth isn't always that easy to see," Yu replied, glancing up as the waiter came back with that drink. Enjoy, Deis; it's coming out of his paycheck. "I wish the situation here was as simple as finding the nearest god-like figure and beating them up, but unfortunately it's not that simple."

"That's one way of putting it." Oh boy oh boy, her attention is on her drink now. As she chugs it down in one gulp, slamming the glass down on the table once she's done.

"Of course it's not simple, even if the end goal is something simple. Other things happen along the way, I've done this thing before."

Way too many times before, actually. But Deis won't tell Yu that.

Yu's eyes widened as she basically... just dumped the whole thing down her throat. Holy... how? Why? What? After a moment, his surprised look toned back down to his usual lineface, shaking his head.

"So have a number of others here," he replied. "Or, almost have, as some cases may be."

Like his.

There are some bonuses to being almost immortal, Yu. A high alcohol tolerance built over centuries is just one of them.

"Hmm, you wouldn't happen to know of any of those cases then?" she asks, seeming to be getting right to the point of the matter.

Yu shrugged slightly. "Me," he replied. "I've been told I'll survive a death goddess in my future."

Well now, that has her attention! Deis leans toward Yu, her expression somehow even more serious than before.

"Really?" She does not sound convinced! "You don't look the type. What can you do?"

Show her some Protag Swag Yu.

"Personae exist on my world as well," Yu explained. "My friends and I fought over the year to find out why strange things were happening in our town. Eventually, it ended where the true culprit was one we wouldn't have guessed."

He's still not even sure how they figured out a simple gas station attendant was actually a goddess. One of these days he would actually ask, but for now...

"It took everything we had, but we won in the end.

"That's good to know. Losing isn't all that fun..." She pauses for a moment after saying that, before adding. "Or at least winning but losing something after that isn't that great."

Now she smiles as she has one more thing to ask, and it's super important.

"Just what is a 'persona' anyway? If it's some kind of magic I've never heard of it before."

"A Persona is the mask of ones soul given form in order to face a conflict beyond themselves," Yu replied, sounding like he had said this a number of times before. "What it looks like varies from person to person, though it usually takes the form or something notable from the person's world."

She listens to Yu as he explains, drumming her nails on the table top and looking as if she's listening to him. But when he finishes?

"Oh... It sounds much to silly," she says with a dismissive wave of a hand and a laugh. "Something new fangled and the easy way out it sounds like, I think I'll just do what I know works instead."

A pause.

"Anyway thanks, boy. You can get to work now."

Deis had the pleasure of seeing Yu's typical lineface expression fall in exasperation. Really? Seriously? That was it? Ask for explanations, dismiss it, and then just... wave him on his way. Still, he wasn't the type to say that much, and he gave a nod, gathering up his dufflebag and heading into the back.

If she sticks around, she'll get to see him again. Hope you don't mind crossdressing acts, Deis.

It's not like she has anywhere else to go, it's too cold outside for her tastes and there's plenty of good looking fellows in the bar to keep her.

And even though she's never seen a cross-dresser before strangely Capcom never did that JRPG plot line she totally will enjoy seeing Yu like that. In fact he might hear her laughing like a mad woman during his act.
