Test Drive Meme - March Edition!

Ahh Hinoto-Ri. City of lights, questionable Wards, the 13th Hour and Personas.

SCENARIO 1
Well it's been a hell of a ride so far, but you've now found yourself somehow testing one of Q's vehicles.

'Do try to bring it back in one piece' he said. What are all these buttons again?! Did you read the manual?...

...wait...

...do you even have a driving license?

SCENARIO 2
Nyx's bar in the Taurus bar is quite possibly the most famous landmark in the area, which is perhaps a dubious thing in the Red Light District.

How you got here is irrelevant, you're going in whether you want to or not.

As you do, the music is making you realize that the combination of partying demons and humans makes for a very strange atmosphere...as long as you're legal, there shouldn't be any problems.

Probably.

SCENARIO 3
13th hour. Although technically the 25th of each day, it is the time when this world seems to change, the entire city turning a shade of dark red, demons coming out, buildings shifting and dangers lurking at every corner.

But it's your job to make this safer. Just be careful of what you run into...

...This can't be good.

SCENARIO 4
You've arrived into Hinoto-Ri! The snow is slowly starting to melt, but it's still rather cold. Maybe if you can find someone who knows exactly what is happening...Maybe it's just a dream? But...you remember the man who said you were here as a special guest...don't you? Is this the city you're supposed to save?

[[OOC - Welcome to the test post! Don't worry too much about Persona stats or your levels here, just come out and make up a scenario about what they are doing. Try out your potentials and interact with the city around you! We'll supply some NPCs once in a while when you least expect it (after all have to test those out too, right?)]]

...he should have minded his own business.

"Can you...not, do that? The mind thing." Rox pressed a hand to the side of his head, as if cradling it. This just felt...gross and creepy and he wanted it out. "It sorta hurts."

But, he couldn't quite be rude, considering the drivers were still looking like they were debating trying to punch the glowing, vaguely-human being. "But, uh, my name's Roxas."

Mind thing... umm... but, I can't speak. I have no mouth.

The creature pressed its fingers against the lower half of its face, patting it to signal that yes, it did not have a mouth, before lifting its shoulders into a careless shrug, the long 'horns' flicking back.

When it next spoke, its voice was notably softer and quieter, as if making an effort not to be too intense.

I am Angel Number Four: Geis.
lamentless: (...wait a minute...)

[personal profile] lamentless 2013-02-26 07:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Okay. It was trying to work with him- and it was listening, so, he was going to try and reciprocate that respect. Assuming he remembers what that is.

"Did you just arrive here too?"

He'd been wandering the streets for a couple hours, trying to avoid people until he could get his bearings. Then again, if not for the car acrobatics, he'd probably have kept such up for the rest of the day, and for the entire week if he could.

Yes! Well, no, I arrived about four hours, fifteen minutes, thirty seven seconds ago. I was immediately drafted into this Vehicle Experiment. I'm presuming. The experiment was not given an official name, and I don't know Scientists who placed me within it, so...

Another careless shrug. Despite being placed into a new world, and drafted into driving a vehicle it had no clue what to do, Geis seemed very relaxed about its situation. In fact, there was a muted sort of excited curiosity about it.

[personal profile] lamentless 2013-02-26 07:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Man, he wasn't the tactful one, where the hell was Ven for situations like this? Of course, that involved him trying not to react too obviously to the word 'experiment', which he was surprisingly successful at.

"Do you know who told you to drive it?" He needed to find these 'scientists' and get some answers, because the glowy thing sure didn't seem like it'd have them.

I don't know. He did not look like Scientists I normally obey.

The man had no white coat, or clipboard, or gloves that all Scientists wore - then again, it didn't look much like a laboratory. Why else force it into a car, though, if not for an experiment? Was it wrong to listen to an unknown scientist? Haruto told him not to mindless obey people without first learning if they were worth it, but it was difficult!

If someone told you to do something, you should do it! Because... because. Because that was how it always was.
lamentless: (well wait hold on a second)

[personal profile] lamentless 2013-02-26 08:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Roxas swallowed a bit thick, wondering if it was worth it to try and grab the glowing figure to pull him somewhere more secluded.

"Can you show me to them, please?"

[personal profile] empyreanprominence 2013-02-26 08:37 pm (UTC)(link)
The man? Certainly. Um-!

Geis turned this way and that, its thin, translucent wings fluttering a little as it lifted itself up a foot off the ground. Oh dear, which way did it come from? To be honest, Geis had been too busy focusing on pushing the car and not crashing into anything when it left the man behind...

...I don't... remember where... I came from...

Geis's voice sounded thoroughly and genuinely devastated, hanging its head in shame.
lamentless: (you have no idea how hung over i am)

[personal profile] lamentless 2013-02-26 08:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh boyyyyyyyyyy.

"That's fine." It's okay. It's not going to be Jason, after all, and it sure isn't going to be any retrieval drones...

Rox shuddered, glancing up and down the street, before hanging his head. "We should get inside. Is that okay?"

Come on, glowing derpy security blanket guy, safety in numbers.

That is fine.

Geis floated a bit closer to Roxas, and suddenly reached out to touch him awkwardly on the shoulder. It would feel like being touched by a cool stream, gently and soothing, just without the wet happening.

Are you cold? Humans shudder when they're cold, right?
lamentless: (of course not- there's nobody there)

[personal profile] lamentless 2013-02-26 09:15 pm (UTC)(link)
That touch was pretty much super uncomfortable, and he immediately looked up at Geis to try and explain that, but-

His vision shot up to the sky, instead. Looking up in to that infinite blue, he momentarily lost track of where their conversation had gone. Vertigo had completely kicked in, and maybe the slow, creeping chill that this wasn't just a tower incident. It was an actual place- maybe, but it was-

You might have to jolt him out of it, Geis, he's sort of trembling.

[personal profile] empyreanprominence 2013-02-26 09:22 pm (UTC)(link)
...?! U-Um?!

Geis quickly lifted its hands up in a gesture of surrender, its form flickering slightly as it watched Roxas, um, have a fit? It had observed other angels have such fits. They usually collapsed or screamed or had a seizure, and then they were broken and had to be recycled. It was apparently very unpleasant.

But Haruto said humans could not be fixed when broken. Geis didn't quite understand it, but still, this was probably very very bad for the human!

Excuse me? Are you okay? Excuse me. Human Roxas? ƱƺƟǷɄ????

The last... 'word' would sound mentally painful to Roxas to hear, very much like suddenly having loud, heavy metal music blasting down your ears from high quality headphones.
forceless: (what'chu say)

[personal profile] forceless 2013-02-27 12:39 am (UTC)(link)
Another weight lowered itself onto Roxas' opposite shoulder; this time one that was definitely not any kind of ethereal, and definitely actually human. To the outside viewer (and likely to Geis), it looked like Roxas' lookalike had just appeared, albeit dressed differently and a differently color to his collar ornament. And when he spoke up, though the tone was different, the voice was nearly the same; he could almost be Roxas' twin.

"Roxas?"

And he was handling the situation surprisingly calmly. Until now he seemed to be ignoring Geis, but with a look of blank curiosity, he shifted his attention from Roxas to Geis.

"Who are you?"

Geis looked like it was trying to make itself as small as possible - indeed, it had pulled up its knees slightly, hovering off of the pavement, its 'horns' flattened back and its hands raised as if to protect its face, a strange, humming noise emitting from its flickering form.

I...am... Angel... Number... Four... Geis...

Its artificial voice fluctuated wildly, shifting from feminine to masculine to downright what the fuck within milliseconds. Geis was agitated! It broke a human! Haruto said you should never break a human. Ever. Unless they broke you first. Geis disobeyed a very firm command...!!

I am sorry I did not mean to break him I am not intending to... did I break him? I didn't mean to...
lamentless: (facepalm and also wtfing)

[personal profile] lamentless 2013-02-27 01:06 am (UTC)(link)
Well, it wasn't pretty, but the double reactions seemed to've jolted Rox out of trying to catch flies, or whatever had him staring upward so hard. However, the reaction had been to clamp his hands over his ears to futiley try and block out the telepathic noise, remaining like that for the entire rest of the exchange.

So, no, he's not okay. He's just going to hunch over a little and try and stem his budding headache.
forceless: (yeah about that)

[personal profile] forceless 2013-02-27 01:17 am (UTC)(link)
His brow furrowed in concern, and a frown came to his face. The weird...humming...in his head, from Geis was...odd. He wasn't entirely sure how to put it. But it wasn't really a thing he could be worrying about right now.

"Hey-- come on, what's the matter?!" He slid around to stand in front of Roxas, placing both of his hands on both of Roxas' shoulders, trying to snap him out of it.

"No, I don't think you broke him-- I don't think you can really break a person like you can break a machine..." He says to Geis, trying to flash a reassuring smile amidst his concern. Whatever this thing was, it wasn't anything malevolent, as far as he could tell right now.

"I'm Ventus. Don't worry, he's my friend-- he'll be fine."

He...hoped.

Geis still hovered in anxious concern, although it drifted a bit closer to look between the newcomer and Roxas in open curiosity. In fact, once it had been assured that Roxas had not been broken by it, and that it hadn't disobeyed a command in the process, it seemed to perk up. Its movements were still timid though, and it reached out slowly to gently tug on Ventus's sleeve.

...I think there has been mental trauma. My brothers sometimes did this when their minds aren't able to compute things properly anymore, and they have to be fixed. That is what Scientists say.
