TEST DRIVE MEME - LATE APRIL/MAY EDITION

Ahh Hinoto-Ri. City of lights, questionable Wards, the 13th Hour and Personas. A city that requires your aid in saving it.

SCENARIO 1: GOLDEN WEEK

Tied to the trees and parts of the houses are a bunch of fish-like kites. It turns Hinoto-Ri's battle=-ravage buildings into something a little more beautiful. By now, the air outside is comfortable to walk with a small shirt.

The booths in the Scorpio ward are busy trying to sell you their trinkets and crops. Will you get a mask? Will you buy and outfit? Will you just grab a little something to eat?

SCENARIO 2: Q'S CAR Q'S CAR THE SCENARIO FOR ALL AGES
Well it's been a hell of a ride so far, but you've now found yourself somehow testing one of Q's vehicles.

'Oh, and do try to bring it back in one piece' he said. What are all these buttons again?!

SCENARIO 3: CHERRY BLOSSOMS


By now all of the cheery trees in Hinoto-Ri are in full bloom. And what a beautiful sight it is! The smell is heavenly and couples and families hurry to the park to be able to secure a place under one of them to be able to enjoy a picnic together.

What a perfect time to arrive in the city!

SCENARIO 4: AN ENEMY APPROACHES! COMMAND?!
13th hour. Although technically the 25th of each day, it is the time when this world seems to change, the entire city turning a shade of dark red, demons coming out, buildings shifting and dangers lurking at every corner.

But it's your job to make this safer. Just be careful of what you run into...



...this is rather confusing. But you've learned not to think that something you see is exactly as it might be. It could be far more dangerous and deadly than it lets on...

SCENARIO 5: THIS IS JUST AN ARRIVAL PROMPT
You've arrived into Hinoto-Ri! And wow, the weather is warming right now. Like an early hot breeze in spring. At least it makes you feel more at ease...unless you came here prepared for terrible weather. Sorry! Maybe if you can find someone who knows exactly what is happening, you'll be able to comfirm that it wasn't just a dream? Remember the man who said you were here as a special guest! This the city you're supposed to save, so let's find out more about it!

Scarlet Wyvern? I think I stopped reading those stories when I was old enough to know how ridiculous everything about it sounds. Up to and including the premise and the reason why he wore the mask.

[A beat, as he all but snatches up the mask.]

It was on my seventh birthday.

[And just to prove a point about how ridiculous this all was, he puts the mask on.]

[Like he's going to let Inigo go at it alone. On goes his mask. (The red one, of course. Red is an awesome color. People with taste think it's the best. Awesome taste.)]

[Ugh, how can anyone breathe while wearing this thing? It's so hot in there.]

[It is a festival. And they're in a place far away from anyone that can recognize them. And the weather is perfect and the food and drinks are plentiful and...why not?]

[Ultraman!Inigo straightens out his clothes and, hands akimbo, faces off toward the east.

Where there's a convenient gaggle of giggling girls.]

To conqu- wait, Inigo, are you really going to talk to them while wearing that?

Why not? Maybe they'll think it's cute and giggle along about how they want to see the hero beneath the mask.

[It probably looks silly, two men in plastic sentai masks arguing out in the open like this...]

Like you said, with the mask, I'm a mysterious hero.

Because you...you know what? Fine. Go for it, Inigo. I'll cheer you on from here.

[manhandled]

N-No. It's not going to be just me. You're coming with me!

[Because one guy in a mask is a weirdo; two guys in a mask, it's funny. Funny is good. It breaks the ice, makes them think you have a good sense of humor, that you're attune to their feelings and what they need...

He tugs on Owain's forearm.]

Come on.

[Why is he going along with this? Because he's walking and going with it.]

Don't blame me when it backfires.

[And...well, Owain's no soothsayer, but he definitely called it. No more than ten minutes later, the gaggle of girls are huffing and stomping in one direction while Inigo is stumbling in the other. His mask is dented on both sides of his face; there are two red handprints on the skin beneath it.]

...why didn't you help me!?

I tried to help you! [By attempting to distract one of the ladies with a wayward cat or otherwise awkwardly change the subject and failing at it because Inigo, but still. Totally tried to help.]

You didn't try hard enough!

[Is that sniffling under the mask?]

What did you want me to do? Come on, Inigo, there's other girls somewhere.

[More sniffling.]

[He's going to sort of take off his mask but let it...basically, he's pulling a dread fighter for a moment with his mask choices. Just picture it.]

Come on, we can go get food. See if anyone else is around? Fight epic duels to the death in some fighting ring and become legends! They're sure to realize how cool you are then!

[manhandled]

[He's not going to take his off just yet. Um, he has to...get used to wearing it for about another minute. Yes.]

...what if we lose the duels? How is that cool?

[He should...keep it on. Yes. Some things aren't meant to be seen. And if he tried to take it off Owain would probably tell him to keep it on.]

We won't lose the duels. [A'durr. That's like saying they'd fail to change the future and be heroes.] Why would we lose the duels? If anything I'd need your help to keep my mighty sword hand tamed lest I lash out against our foes and topple them with my mighty strength.

[True, they won't lose duels, but at the same time, this is a completely different place and---!

Inigo removes his mask. Nope, no sign of crying. What did you say? Red puffy eyes? Well, it is allergy season...]

What you mean to say is, you need me to keep you in line.
