TEST DRIVE MEME - LATE APRIL/MAY EDITION
Ahh Hinoto-Ri. City of lights, questionable Wards, the 13th Hour and Personas. A city that requires your aid in saving it.
SCENARIO 1: GOLDEN WEEK

Tied to the trees and parts of the houses are a bunch of fish-like kites. It turns Hinoto-Ri's battle=-ravage buildings into something a little more beautiful. By now, the air outside is comfortable to walk with a small shirt.
The booths in the Scorpio ward are busy trying to sell you their trinkets and crops. Will you get a mask? Will you buy and outfit? Will you just grab a little something to eat?
SCENARIO 2: Q'S CAR Q'S CAR THE SCENARIO FOR ALL AGES
Well it's been a hell of a ride so far, but you've now found yourself somehow testing one of Q's vehicles.
'Oh, and do try to bring it back in one piece' he said. What are all these buttons again?!
Did you read the manual?...
...wait...
...do you even have a driving license?
SCENARIO 3: CHERRY BLOSSOMS

By now all of the cheery trees in Hinoto-Ri are in full bloom. And what a beautiful sight it is! The smell is heavenly and couples and families hurry to the park to be able to secure a place under one of them to be able to enjoy a picnic together.
What a perfect time to arrive in the city!
SCENARIO 4: AN ENEMY APPROACHES! COMMAND?!
13th hour. Although technically the 25th of each day, it is the time when this world seems to change, the entire city turning a shade of dark red, demons coming out, buildings shifting and dangers lurking at every corner.
But it's your job to make this safer. Just be careful of what you run into...

...this is rather confusing. But you've learned not to think that something you see is exactly as it might be. It could be far more dangerous and deadly than it lets on...
SCENARIO 5: THIS IS JUST AN ARRIVAL PROMPT
You've arrived into Hinoto-Ri! And wow, the weather is warming right now. Like an early hot breeze in spring. At least it makes you feel more at ease...unless you came here prepared for terrible weather. Sorry! Maybe if you can find someone who knows exactly what is happening, you'll be able to comfirm that it wasn't just a dream? Remember the man who said you were here as a special guest! This the city you're supposed to save, so let's find out more about it!
[[OOC - Welcome to the test post! Don't worry too much about Persona stats or your levels here, just come out and make up a scenario about what they are doing. Try out your potentials and interact with the city around you! We'll supply some NPCs once in a while when you least expect it (after all have to test those out too, right?)]]

So he closes them, and thinks of the first thing that makes him happy. Surprisingly enough, it's not about women of the world fawning over him and fainting at his feet. That comes second.
He thinks of his mother, and her dancing, and how she livens up the room with just her smile...]
Mmhm...

......
............]
'K, keep doing whatever you're doing. ...And don't open your eyes.
[Inigo may feel a slight pressure as Phantom Girl takes his hand and begins to ascend skywards.]
Think light. And fluffy. Like... clouds or... whipped cream.
no subject
[Things are relatively fine. Calm as can but only up to the moment where he suddenly no longer feels the earth under his feet. It's kind of like spinning too fast but without the hope of ever recovering. A cause for alarm in of itself.
Inigo's eyes snap open and they're...above the ground?]
no subject
[They are about two feet above the ground now; Phantom Girl releases Inigo's hand and drifts off a few feet away.]
Don't ask me how the physics of this work. It just kinda... does. ...You might want to try it like this.
[Phantom Girl places one hand on her hip and stretches the other arm above her in classic superhero fashion.]
When Brainy discovered how to make these things, it was a huge deal. Self-sustained flight was innate to only a few species - Bgztlians, Tamaraneans... Of course, we couldn't just hand these things out to anyone.
So. Feel special. Now c'mon, we're wasting time.
no subject
N-No! W-Wait, hold on! GAH! Don't leave me--!

[Still he flails. Still gravity does not pay him any mind.]
no subject
Weren't you super excited about this earlier? You looked kinda excited. Maybe I was just hallucinating.
[Phantom Girl floats over and grabs Inigo's hand again.]
Alright, alright, I can babysit. You don't have to freak out, sheesh.
no subject
[He's leaning too far back, in danger of flipping over, but Phantom Girl makes it over and saves the day just in the nick of time. His hand is slick with sweat and gripping hers. Tightly.]
I can do this! Just...give me a moment to adjust...!
no subject
It's not like it'd just let you fall, you know. It works off willpower; if you want to stay up, you will.
...To a certain extent. I mean, it's possible your fear is so great that your subconscious desire to be on the ground overrides the ring, but man, you'd have to be really trying hard for that.
[Perhaps she shouldn't have mentioned that.]
no subject
Works off willpower, huh?]
Please -- okay, hold on. I have this. Just...
[Putting a theory to the test, he closes his eyes, breathes in deep and...up he goes, about two fight higher. He's a little shaky when he reopens them but nowhere near as spazzy as he was before.
Huh, maybe there is something to this ring's mechanics after all.]
How's that?
no subject
...I mean me, of course; obviously, I'm a perfect tutor.
[Phantom Girl follows him up the two feet.]
You ready to try something a little higher than a quarter of a meter an hour?
no subject
[He'll prefer to take things slow in this regard, thank you very much. And he'll keep his comments about her tutelage until they're both down on even ground...]
no subject
[That was totally reassuring she's sure.]
First stop... Let's see if that invisible barrier or whatever really surrounds the whole city.
[Fwoosh! Phantom Girl's max speed isn't anywhere as impressive as say, Superboy's, but she can manage a steady clip.]
((And I think this is probably a good place to stop! Thanks for indulging me; I'm vaguely tempted to app for real now!))
