Testing Post: TESTING HARDER
We hope you'll enjoy your stay. But is this just a dream? You remember the man who said you were here as a special guest...don't you?
[[OOC - Welcome to the test post! Don't worry too much about Persona stats or your levels here, just come out and make up a scenario about what they are doing. Try out your potentials and interact with the city around you! We'll supply some NPCs once in a while when you least expect it (after all have to test those out too, right?)]]

Ignore the lack of icons they're still in the process of being drawn sob
Any attempt to distinguish their gender is rendered impossible by the thick coat they're wearing, although they are quite petite with shortish hair. Want to bug them?]
no subject
[Looks like this miserable-looking young man has been watching it too, though nothing in his body language suggests that he likes it at all. In fact, he seems more fearful of what it will result in than anything else- he shoots a frown over at the masked person.]
Enjoying yourself, aren't you?
no subject
[The person turns their body towards the man, their hands lowering from their mask. Through the eye holes of the mask, glints of eerie yellow could be seen]
They are filled with raw passion, with zeal, with life. How can I not enjoy such a scene?
no subject
[At the sight of the yellow glints in the mask, the man's own eyes widen, but there's something a little too fake about it- it's as if he's doing it instinctively, and not actually feeling the fear that would go into that sort of reaction. In fact, he looks rather intrigued, though he still frowns with distaste over at his fellow masked spectator.]
That's not really a happy thing to watch, if you ask me...
no subject
[The masked person suddenly throws up their hands in a violent movement, stamping their foot in exaggerated anger]
Humans are the most beautiful when they fight! When they scream! Whether it be from excitement or anger or hatred - such depths of their emotions, they are beautiful!
[The person calmed abruptly, straightening up and tilting their head]
Don't you agree? Humans have such a complexity about them...
no subject
Well...yes, they are complex.
[And a slight twist of the mouth as he turns to gaze at the couple, like he can't quite allow himself to totally agree with what the person is saying.] I'm not too sure about beautiful, though.
no subject
[The person turns back to the couple, pressing their hands against their mask, uttering a soft, near love-sick sigh. The couple at this point were outright screaming with each other when-
The woman smacked the man and began to storm off. The man stood there, rubbing his cheek in stunned amazement]
Aw...
[The person lowered their hands, hanging their head dejectedly]
They've concluded it. Well! That was still very exciting to watch. The woman filled with blinding anger and betrayal, and the man, thoroughly abashed, and now, we'll see...ah, there we are! The anger, the 'I don't need her'! Ahaha, no matter how predictable, they are still so fascinating...
no subject
...Yeah. You could say that again.
[And then an awkward pause as he scratches the back of his shaggy head.]
Do you do this often? Watching humans like a television show?
no subject
[They said it so bluntly and without shame...]
I wish to know more about my worshippers, to understand them, so I observe them. But...they are so different from person to person, it is difficult...
no subject
[He looks taken aback- really, he hadn't been expecting that.]
What...are you a god of some sort?
no subject
[Suddenly the person seems more animated, gesturing enthusiastically with their hands]
I am a God given mortal flesh. For me to understand my followers' plight, I must suffer with them, learn from them, until it is time for me to be released from this body. Once I ascend I will bestow upon you pure nirvana.
[They held out their hands in a welcoming manner]
So do not be afraid! If you follow me and give me your wishes, I will protect and serve you until end of time.
no subject
[And don't mind if he just...kind of backs away from that gesture, looking unsure.]
Um. Thanks...I guess. I don't need nirvana, though. I kind of way too far from that to ever achieve it. Besides, I-I don't even know you. Why should I follow you?
no subject
[The person tilts their head to the side like a confused puppy]
Humans wish for a symbol of hope. That is what I am. I give hope and motivation to those who are lost, or damned. No matter what sins they have committed, no matter the horrors or the mistakes, so long as they struggle and writhe and fight to live, I will accept them and love them forever.
no subject
[He almost looks on the verge of letting out a deprecating, but he quells it, only letting the most bittersweet expression remain on his face.]
Trust me...you don't really want to accept somebody like me. You really don't. I'm not worth it.
no subject
[The person steps forwards, clasping their hands together before their chest as if in prayer]
Especially when they feel like nothing, like they have nothing left, and are suffocating in the darkness, in misery. However...
[They lower their hands]
It does not matter if you join me or not. I love you, no matter what you choose.
deprecating laugh GOSH DARN IT

... Are they that entertaining to watch?
no subject
[The masked person turned their head to regard Chrome, although their body remained in the same position, hands still clasped against their 'cheeks'. It looked quite eerie]
Don't you agree?
no subject
... It's not really something I've though about before.
no subject
[The person drops their hands and turns completely towards Chrome, gesturing enthusiastically]
Two extremes! Conflict! Multitudes of emotions! So complex it is a beautiful as the design on a snowflake!
no subject
Ah... Why are you so interested in human emotion?
no subject
[The person crosses their arms and cups the bottom of their mask in an exaggerated thinking position]
It is also observation. I wish to understand them. If I do, I will be able to relate better to my worshippers.
no subject
[Now she looks even more confused.] ... Are you a cult leader?
no subject
[As they say with a completely even voice]
no subject
A God in the literal sense?
