January Character Test Drive Meme Post - How About A Nice Drive

Ahh Hinoto-Ri. City of lights, questionable wards, the 13th Hour and Personas.

SCENARIO 1
Well it's been a hell of a ride so far, but you've not found yourself somehow testing one of Q's vehicles.

'Do try to bring it back in one piece' he said. What are all these buttons again?! Did you read the manual?...

...wait...

...do you even have a driving license?

SCENARIO 2
We hope you arrived in warm clothing because if not you'll sure be in for a surprise!

Hinoto-Ri is covered in snow! First you show up in a strange new place and now you're freezing cold. Maybe it's just a dream? But...you remember the man who said you were here as a special guest...don't you? Is this the city you're supposed to save?

[[OOC - Welcome to the test post! Don't worry too much about Persona stats or your levels here, just come out and make up a scenario about what they are doing. Try out your potentials and interact with the city around you! We'll supply some NPCs once in a while when you least expect it (after all have to test those out too, right?)]]

Sophie Hayes (OC) | Icons still being drawn, I'm sorry!

Sophie was panicking. The buildings were so tall, stretching out high towards the snowy sky, the streets filled with people and the murmur of conversation. Her long ears twitched and flickered agitatedly, her fingers clutching tight at the strap of her hunting rifle, slung over her shoulder.

How did she end up here? Why were there so many people?! There were more people here than the village outside of the forest and- ah, too many! Too many!

The young woman could feel their stares on her too - or, rather, the stares on the deer antlers sprouting from her messy, long brown hair. She never really felt so self-conscious before. Her ears twitched again, tugging anxiously at the fur shawl around her shoulders and- and finally something within her snapped.

Base instincts. Bolt. Run.

She fled right into the road, but alas, poor timing. A squeal of tires, the bright glare of headlights - poor Sophie froze up like a, well, a deer girl in headlights, standing absolutely still as the car stopped a few inches away from her.

So options laid before you, tagger! Are you one of those test driving Q's cars that nearly ran the young deer girl over? Or will you rescue her from an irate driver yelling at her frozen form to get out of the road?

There's one upside to this weird city - almost no one looks at Momotaros twice for looking the way he does. They just assume he's one of the native demons and go on their way. Much as he misses home, it's pretty nice being able to walk around mostly unhindered by people screaming about demons and such.

On the other hand, there were still going to be jerks - namely the one that had just laid on his horn after screeching to a stop to avoid hitting the horned girl, who was now shouting out the window for her to move. A case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, really. Or the right place at the right time, at least for Momo. He strolls over from the sidewalk, and smacks a palm on top of the angry driver's car - the sound resounds pretty loudly in the vehicle, and Momo leans down in the window. "Hey, jerkass, how 'bout you calm down, alright?"

The angry fellow in the car jumped at the hand smacking down on the roof, and cringed back into his seat when Momo's face comes into view. Used to demons he may be, but it was still startling to have it suddenly appearing beside you!

"I-I was just, she needs to get out of the road..." The driver mumbled, most of the wind taken out of his furious sails, his fingers anxiously drumming on the steering wheel.

Sophie stirred a little out of her paralysed state at this point, her eyes flickering over to the strange...red, what- she had, never seen such a bizarre thing before. Who was... that? What was it? Sophie's brain felt like it was spluttering from overheating, the young woman simply staring dumbly at Momo with little comprehension.

"I'm..." Sophie's ear twitched. "Sorry. I. Um. I'll, this is my fault. I'll...move..."

"Yeah, well, there's better ways of lettin' someone know they need to move," Momotaros answered. Granted, this was a complete bout of hypocrisy: he'd get like this himself a lot of the time, even going as far as to shove the offending party at the least of things. However, he was trying to improve. Sort of.

His heart was in the right place, at least most of the time.

Raising up from the window, he nods and makes shooing motions to try and encourage Sophie to the other side of the street. "Yeah, yeah, c'mon, before anyone else comes along. I can't stand around in the middle of the road and yell at people all night, y'know."

Sophie skittered to the side of the street at the shooing, still twitching a bit nervously. She didn't seem ready to bolt again though - she had pushed past the initial panic and was now firmly within dazed bewilderment. It was almost as if she'd been hit by the car and had the wits knocked out of her.

Boots firmly planted on the pavement, she turned to her, er, saviour. He was (well she thought it was a 'he') very intimidating to look at, but his gruff demeanour reminded her of Dr. Richard. A bit brusque and in your face, but okay deep down.

Ah...ahah, imagining Dr. Richard with such a mask on did make Sophie's lips twitch a bit in a smile. Okay. Yes. It's - it's silly, not scary. Deep breaths, girl. Mmhmm, like that.

"Um, thank you," she said, mumbling into her fur shawl. Her death grip on her rifle strap slackened. "Mister...you, you are a man, right? I can't- tell..."
