Hinoto-Ri is covered in snow! First you show up in a strange new place and now you're freezing cold. Maybe it's just a dream? But...you remember the man who said you were here as a special guest...don't you? Is this the city you're supposed to save?

"Of course, I don't think too much about that kinda thing. And, well. This place isn't my jurisdiction. That aside, this is one slick ride you got here."

Sophie was panicking. The buildings were so tall, stretching out high towards the snowy sky, the streets filled with people and the murmur of conversation. Her long ears twitched and flickered agitatedly, her fingers clutching tight at the strap of her hunting rifle, slung over her shoulder.

How did she end up here? Why were there so many people?! There were more people here than the village outside of the forest and- ah, too many! Too many!

The young woman could feel their stares on her too - or, rather, the stares on the deer antlers sprouting from her messy, long brown hair. She never really felt so self-conscious before. Her ears twitched again, tugging anxiously at the fur shawl around her shoulders and- and finally something within her snapped.

Base instincts. Bolt. Run.

She fled right into the road, but alas, poor timing. A squeal of tires, the bright glare of headlights - poor Sophie froze up like a, well, a deer girl in headlights, standing absolutely still as the car stopped a few inches away from her.

So options laid before you, tagger! Are you one of those test driving Q's cars that nearly ran the young deer girl over? Or will you rescue her from an irate driver yelling at her frozen form to get out of the road?

There's one upside to this weird city - almost no one looks at Momotaros twice for looking the way he does. They just assume he's one of the native demons and go on their way. Much as he misses home, it's pretty nice being able to walk around mostly unhindered by people screaming about demons and such.

On the other hand, there were still going to be jerks - namely the one that had just laid on his horn after screeching to a stop to avoid hitting the horned girl, who was now shouting out the window for her to move. A case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, really. Or the right place at the right time, at least for Momo. He strolls over from the sidewalk, and smacks a palm on top of the angry driver's car - the sound resounds pretty loudly in the vehicle, and Momo leans down in the window. "Hey, jerkass, how 'bout you calm down, alright?"

It's also a little weird getting used to people apparently being able to see her again. This wasn't Shibuya, she knew, but it also wasn't anywhere in the UG either. It wasn't even a part of the Reaper's Game so far as she could tell. She hadn't seen any Noise either, at least, which was good because she can't see Beat anywhere, and while she did have to remind him to not run ahead, he wouldn't leave his parnter behind entirely.

Well, first she should look around and figure out what's going on, right? She couldn't panic or get upset or anything - she might miss something that way. And this place didn't seem like the kind of place you wanted to make mistakes in, any more than the UG was.]

The radio is blaring punk rock music while a pink-haired, goggled woman with giant metal gauntlets rides on the hood. It seems she's abusing the autopilot function to chase after some poor monster.

Eventually she leaps off the thing after the autopilot goes in a different direction than the creature, and with a blast of propellant from her glove, she plants a fist into the back of the creature. Hard.

[It's the middle of the Thirteenth Hour, and there's a tattooed boy with greyish skin and a tattered red mantle tied around his middle, seated on the edge of the pavement with his head down and arms folded across his knees. Every patch of visible skin was engraved with tattoos. Save for the red cloak, and black bandages wrapped tightly around his limbs, the boy was entirely naked as he sat out in the snow and stewed.

Luckily, Servants can ignore the cold without suffering for it!]

[Avenger was fed up with existing, he was fed up with all the people that were stupid enough to breathe near him without being able to kill them, and he was fed up with getting abruptly summoned to strange places without his agreement. He also had been, one way or another, cut off from the prana provided by his pact with his Master, meaning either she was DEAD (which meant the four-day time loop should have reset itself by now) or their contract had been dissolved by a greater force somehow. Damn, what a pain. He'd been satisfied enough with her as the boss.

Any empathetic person passing by in the dead of night will notice he feels--------well. Ever wondered what the sensation of pure, endless, unfathomably deep hatred that could turn into a curse just by existing and constantly wishing for everybody around you to die feels like? Wonder no more.]

[There is someone singing a children's song happly. If one was to turn the corner, they'd find a happy little girl building a snowman while singing. She's wearing only a dress with short sleeves and is barefoot but the cold does not seem to bother her one bit. Although if one was paying attention, you'd also see that she's not human, as evident by the 6 icicle wings on her back.

She seems more interested in the snow and her snowman then anything else. What do you do?]

He wonders how she can dress like that in this sort of weather, but he supposes those wings sort of explains it. He's pretty sure she's a new arrival, but it doesn't seem to be getting her down. He's not sure if that's weird or admirable.

Shuu ignored the snow catching onto his fluffed feathers, his legs long enough for his rotund form to be above the thick layer of snow. It had been summer, so sadly his winter plumage hadn't grown in yet, but Shuu endured the discomfort in a severely detached way. The snow was absolutely insignificant compared to the phenomenon that had just occurred.

Was it possible for this to be yet another dream? He had thought that dealing with the soft-skinned 'King' would put an end to it, but no. Instead of the school roof, being hassled by Miru and Kaku, he was in a snowy, unfamiliar place teeming with humans. Remarkable. Not a single bird in sight. Perhaps he had tumbled through a crack into some place new. Or perhaps they had been too late, and his mind had indeed been reduced to a vegetative state. He had believed the mind would simply disconnect from the body, allowing him to be in a state of pure, unadulterated thought - but that didn't seem to be the case here.

Hm. How fascinating.

Shuu could feel his interest stirring, his dark eyes keenly watching the humans stomping past. Fully grown adult humans of both genders - he had dealt with several of them over his lifetime, but admittedly it was the first time he had seen so many in one place outside of their reservations. Perhaps this was a world still dominated by homo sapiens. If it wasn't a dream world or a hallucination, of course.

"Ho ho ho..." Shuu couldn't help it. It was vastly amusing in a way. He stopped in the street, fluffing up his feathers to shake off some of the clinging snow. This would be a good opportunity to observe humans in their dominant state. The records they had about the life of humans before their downfall were...lacking. It was inexcusable, really.

Maybe he should take samples as well. Were these humans any different from those like Miss Tosaka? The possibilities clawed at his mind. Oh, how he itched to examine each and every crevice, peel back their layers and inspect the insides...

Ah, now if only Miss Tosaka was here to act as compare and contrast subject.

So she's heading for the shopping district, trying to find something a little bit more weather friendly. Really, Philemon, she doesn't mind helping out with your shadow problem (Part and parcel of being the Goddess of Light and all) but this is no way to treat a lady.]

He could have at least offered me his coat. I mean, I'm not exactly dressed for field work.

....Not that I usually do my own field work.

[Anyway, the sooner she stops freezing, the sooner she can get to fixing this shadow business and head back home. A goddess has a lot of responsibilities after all.]

[Freezing cold? Not for a Servant. Gawain is just fine walking the streets in his armor. Soon enough, he sees you, and approaches.]

Excuse me, but I must ask for your aid. Might you be able to tell me where I might find shelter for my stay here?

Needless to say, Arturia was a lover of knights as much as her uncle was a lover of samurai. Unlike her uncle, however, she was much more low key about it. That's why her only reaction to seeing this man in armor is to simply pause and look at him for just a second. She'd been standing by her moped, checking off her list of deliveries and doublechecking the list of things she needed to get for her cats--Buttercup and Snapdragon had somehow gotten fleas and the whole lot needed medication. When this man approached her and asked for directions.

Something about him made the tell-tale hairs on the back of her head rise. It's been so long since she felt it that it would be a moment before she would realize he is a Servant. It would be even longer before she would recognize part of her awe is due to the sense of deja vu washing over her.]

[There's a shivering teenager in black and red walking around with a surly look on his face. The fact that his clothing seems like it'd be much more appropriate for warmer weather would be a good indication as to why he's shivering.

'This is supposed to be the afterlife? Pathetic.' Vanitas was under the impression that it was supposed to be warmer; you couldn't get much closer to hell than the Keyblade Graveyard, so he'd assumed that any afterlife he could wind up in would be similar.

The last thing he'd been expecting was a cryptic moron wearing a butterfly mask asking for his help. What was that guy thinking?

'Yeah, right. Me, save the world? Who do I look like, Ventus or his idiot friends?'

He's going to keep walking, his shoes making crunching noises in the snow with each step. Another shiver, and he pulls the hood of his jacket up in a vain attempt to fight the cold.

First thing on the agenda--find warmer clothing. After that... well. One thing at a time. It's not like he has anywhere else to be.]

Undoubtedly, she must have looked terrifying. Of all things to encounter suddenly after falling unconscious on an alien planet and waking up on another, she hadn't been expecting civilians on a city street.

Before she'd totally gained her senses, Samus had quite accidentally pulled her arm cannon on several of said civilians standing around her in the snow, sending them screaming and running. Realizing her mistake, she put away her canon and held out a hand in a gesture to get them to calm down and wait, but the street had been cleared before she could even say a word of apology. Well, so much for first impressions.

Putting a hand to the side of her visor, Samus scans for her location, her suit calculating the atmosphere of the planet to be completely hospitable to human life, and noting the structures and general area to be primitive, but man-made. In fact, the readings all seemed to suggest she was on...

Earth?? How...

When she made attempts to contact the Galactic Federation and any of the Aurora Units she'd been linked to, she gets nothing but static. Wonderful.

Samus walks down the street, cannon dropped by her side and one hand holding it down in a gesture saying that she meant no harm. She wasn't about to get out of her suit in this weather, though.

Along her way she will encounter a certain angel standing and gawking at her. It's not the same kind of fearful, uncertain gawking she's been receiving as she walks through Hinoto-Ri. No, this is an excited, awe-struck gawk (which in turn is winning him some stares of the negative variety, as his wings are stretched out and quite in the way).

Were he feeling up to Japanese, this would be the part where he says "Sugoiii".

Kinshiro Morooka/"King Moron" | Persona 4

[Considering his last thoughts were fear and terror at being murdered, Morooka is more than happy to believe he's in hell. It isn't the biting cold that convinces him of this, or the continued feeling of dread and...pain in the back of his skull at the moment.

Rather it's the fact that he's in the goddamn big city. Of course he is. Where else was he going to go when he died?

That being said, the cold and snow wasn't helping things either, especially for a man who just died from blunt force trauma to the back of the skull. He's dazed and disoriented from the pain and the new setting isn't doing him any favors.

At the moment Morooka is staggering around in the cold and the snow, more pissed than ever. And apparently with even less grace then when he's drunk by the way he's walking, considering he just walked into a trashcan and managed to knock his ass to the ground.]

Dammit!

[Morooka kicked at the can a few times, some intentionally others just collateral damage as he tries to straighten himself. He grumbles and curses under his breath as he rights the trashcan, pieces of garbage caught in the snow.

And then?

Staggered, Morooka will begin to look for, pick up, and put back every piece of trash he knocked out he can find. Pissed off and grumbling all the way, but still doing it.]

Someone unaware of Morooka's reputation is staring from across the street, wearing running shoes and shorts even in this cold weather and snow. In fact, the only thing that seems to be protecting her from the cold is the thick green hoodie she's wearing, hands stuffed deeply into the pockets. In addition to this strangeness, she seems to have two black lines tattooed in her face, right on her cheeks. Even more strange, a Jack Frost is standing by her, leaning its hand against her leg, staring at Morooka as well with his silly grin plastered on his face.

[Waiting for the Tram is such a pain in the ass. Adachi would rather walk if he could but it's so cold out there that's not really an option at this point. So he's stuck waiting around, wrapping his arms around himself like an underdressed idiot in a place like this. Good news: he's back in the city. Well, a city. Bad news: it's completely nuts.

Not that he minds supernatural things or anything. After all, he's taken advantage of his own bout of unexplainable things, but... Having it on a city-wide level? That seems a bit much. A bit too anime for him. This sort of stuff just doesn't happen in real life! And waiting for the Tram, well... That's a bit too much like real life.]

Geez, you'd think with a strange city like this they'd have the power to get rid of wait times. It's too cold out here!

Eggman shivers as he tries desperately to get his ride working again.]

For every hedgehog attack it suffers through, it finally decides to break down now in some stupid, otherworldly city. I don't know whether to count myself lucky, but this is just ridiculous!

[Using the electrical tape in reserve, Eggman ties the loose wires together. No response, though.]

Come on, work, you stupid thing. Ugh, I don't suppose I could find a power ring or two lying around...

[Swerve a little closer to the right and Minako would have bent up Dr. Eggman's new Egg Rider. It's a customization on his Egg Mobile that's meant to drive like a luxury sports car. Military grade. Even the doctor wants to live it up every now and then. Not being one to just let things go, Eggman puts the Rider on high gear and boosts straight for the silver cruiser.]

You ruined my paint job! Where did you even learn how to drive anyway!? Get off the road before you hurt someone!

[The red headed girl is bundled up for the cold weather, decked out in a heavy peacoat, a hat, and a big fluffy scarf that covers up her collar; she feels bad when her friends have to look at it, and still hasn't really had the heart to explain just what it was to them. Because of this, she and Naminé generally found excuses to keep them covered up from view. Usually Kairi wouldn't give a troll a second glance, having met a lot of them back at Facility, but something around Sollux's neck catches her attention and she has to do a double take to make sure what she saw was legit.
Whoa. That's a collar. A collar from the Consortium.
