Well it's been a hell of a ride so far, but you've not found yourself somehow testing one of Q's vehicles.

We hope you arrived in warm clothing because if not you'll sure be in for a surprise!

Hinoto-Ri is covered in snow! First you show up in a strange new place and now you're freezing cold. Maybe it's just a dream? But...you remember the man who said you were here as a special guest...don't you? Is this the city you're supposed to save?

[[OOC - Welcome to the test post! Don't worry too much about Persona stats or your levels here, just come out and make up a scenario about what they are doing. Try out your potentials and interact with the city around you! We'll supply some NPCs once in a while when you least expect it (after all have to test those out too, right?)]]

Little ol' me? I figured I'd kick back, take it real easy for a bit, see what fun's there to be had in this place. It's gotta be better than Fuyuki City, at least.

[Okay. That doesn't sound too bad in and of itself. Gawain's still cautious, though.]

One word of advice: Do not do anything that would incur the wrath of the law enforcement here. If you avoid doing so, then we have no reason to come to blows -- and here, I would prefer to avoid fighting other people in the same predicament as I, be they Servant or human.

[Wow. A good-two-shoes. He acts like Avenger cares about the wrath of the law enforcement or anything like that at all.]

Yeah, yeah, I hear 'ya. I getcha. What do I think about that? Hmm... [He couldn't help but sound unenthusiastic, and eventually decided to not say what he thinks about this Saber and his advice. He gestured at the city.]

Hey, what's the deal with this whole set-up? It ain't the Grail's doing, and I wasn't summoned here by a Master, so mind telling me?

Very well, I can tell you that.

We are in a city called Hinoto-ri, in a parallel world. Those responsible for bringing us here are Philemon and Nyarlathotep, who have a dispute on the worthiness of the continued survival of humanity. Should humans prove their worth, they will be allowed to continue their existence; but should they prove to be a detriment, they will be eliminated. We are here as a part of their test.

[Avenger pays lackluster attention. But;

Where do we want to go? Why have we exhausted the land? Was this good, was this bad?

I want results that anyone can understand. It doesn't matter if it's failure or not.

He wants to crack up laughing. Seems these guys wanted the answer to that question too.]

Hinoto-ri, huh? I see. [The worthiness of humanity... Well, the power of humanity was incredible, he'd give them that much. Incredible at fucking things up.] So, basically, these two forces are having a pissing contest, and whoever wins decides whether or not mankind gets kicked to the curb or left to continue on their way.

I would not use such terms, but...simply put, yes.

[Gawain very clearly disapproves of such language.]

Bet you're the type of Heroic Spirit to be firmly on our species' side in all of this, right?

That is the responsibility of a Heroic Spirit, is it not? We are to come to mankind's aid when it is in mortal peril.

[Oh. It was one of those Servants with a few screw loose enough to happily lend a hand whenever they got summoned. Idly, Avenger wondered if this world was dying as well.]

Right. I suppose ya' feel right at home here then. Fighting for the right of them hominids to keep [burning through, using up] living their [meaningless, pointless] lives peacefully...

[It's more than that. This setting is much preferable to that of the Moon Cell. At least half the people involved don't die every week. Gawain never protested against it, but he didn't like games where one person was guaranteed to die.]

I would not have applied for a job with the local police force if that were not the case.

[He snaps out of the defensive stance he'd holding for awhile and his voice totally isn't laced with sarcasm, no sir. This is the voice is obviously utterly sincere in wishing Saber the best of congratulations. Avenger grins.]

So how long are you planning on staying, hmm? Got a Master to sustain your power consumption for more than a couple weeks?

[Gawain doesn't miss it. He says nothing, but his body language indicates his annoyance.]

[It's a provisional contract with Igor, but it's a prana supply.]

[~~I'm sorry about him being an stupid douche okay~~ Avenger folds his arms across his dark-skinned chest and doesn't react to the other Servant's annoyance.]
