Well it's been a hell of a ride so far, but you've not found yourself somehow testing one of Q's vehicles.

We hope you arrived in warm clothing because if not you'll sure be in for a surprise!

Hinoto-Ri is covered in snow! First you show up in a strange new place and now you're freezing cold. Maybe it's just a dream? But...you remember the man who said you were here as a special guest...don't you? Is this the city you're supposed to save?

[[OOC - Welcome to the test post! Don't worry too much about Persona stats or your levels here, just come out and make up a scenario about what they are doing. ... he can't help the laugh, even as he's dodging and scooping up snow. He really, really can't. It's been waaaay too long since he's seen Ven act this carefree.] That's what you always say!

Especially once you learn just how far behind he is on the timeline.] It's true though!

[Nuh-uh. Dodging one, getting hit on the shoulder with another. The third?

Is getting flung back by a small, rather sudden whirlwind. And it's being accompanied by two more that he's made.]

[Snowballs currently forgotten in favor of solving that mystery.]

Where'd what come from? [Considering that Terra couldn't cast anything silently to save his life before the Mark of Mastery exam, he's guessing it might take a little bit before Ven figures this out.

He's in the process of forming another snowball, but he isn't going to be throwing it. Yet.]

That whirlwind! [Not that Ven's much better at this point re silent spells. Getting him to sit still for longer than ten minutes is hard enough. Also the lack of a keyblade means you can't cast spells. Or so he believes. He won't deny that it's strange though and does make him wonder. But.. Terra wasn't named Master. Aqua was, so if there was any cool special effects like Master Eraqus could do then....

Wouldn't Aqua have gotten them?

That in mind, Ventus is going to grab as many snowballs as he can and throw them at Terra.

Because clearly the answer to winning the snowball fight and the Mystery Whirlwind is 'Bury Big Bro in Snow.'~~It will one day work. Really.~~]

Oh, that. [Nope, still grinning. And now dodging the oncoming flurry of snow to the best of his ability. He gets pegged by two or three, but for every two that Ven tosses at him, Terra manages to throw one right back.

Snowball fights; great dodging practice.

As Ven goes through his ammo stores, Terra notices that the younger teen is camped under a rooftop with a hanging ledge. On said roof is... a very large pile of snow.

Well. A small, controlled tremor would be tougher than just a simple Aero spell, but not by much considering Earth was his best element.

A little bit of focus...

The ground near the building shakes, making the building vibrate and shaking the snow loose from its place on the roof--and making it land right on top of Ven.

He wins.]

Yea. You don't have Earthshatter out and I thought only Aqua got to use the cool special effects like Master Eraqus because she passed the Exam. [HERE. Have his canon point all neatly summed up. On one hand it's good, because he;s still the derp of sunshine that's likely too innocent for the world.

On the other hand... Not so good, given what it also means for Ventus and given his curiosity, chances are, if those thongs are mentioned, he's going to go poking his nose into things to find out what it means.

But that is neither here nor there when Ventus finds himself squeaking and flailing at all the snow right on top of him.] HEY!

How's that happen? [Trying to get out of snowdrift!]

[... oh, light, Ven's statement hits Terra once he's done laughing and has managed to calm down. He blinks, stunned that Ven is from such an early point in time.

He looks... puzzled for a bit, as he tries to figure out just what to say or how to feel about this. Eventually, he settles on the kind of smile he'd had when he had passed his old wooden Keyblade on to the younger teenager, only this one seems... different, somehow.] You don't have to be a Master to know how to cast things without your Keyblade or an incantation. It just takes a bit of practice.

[And a lot of practical application, in Terra's case. That always was the best way for him to learn anything new.]

You don't? [Oh god you should not have told him that, given the only spell he knows/is any good at is Aero.

Do you really want Ven casting that wordlessly, in snow?] Can you teach me?

[Then maybe he can win the snowball fight for once 8D]
