▼ A city like no other...

Ahh Hinoto-Ri. City of lights, questionable Wards, the 13th Hour and Personas. A city that requires your aid in saving it, but sometimes in the strangest of ways...

▼ SCENARIO 1: A note to remember

Japanese school may be rather different for you, but you've been adjusting! However, something unexpected gets dropped desk (or foot locker) today.



Hmmm. This might be, well it would depend what type of person you are, actually. But the question is, how do you react? And most importantly, who do you accuse?

▼ SCENARIO 2: Teenbeat Magazine!

Today, you're browsing through the recently received news when you see the following message pop up on the screen:

LIKE OMG we've got the sexiest of the Visitors and who's totally dateable this Valentine's month!!! THE RESULTS ARE IN AND---

Naturally, upon scrolling down, you see a picture of yourself in nothing but your swimwear. And almost immediately, it seems there are people on the street beginning to glance in your direction...

You've heard the rumors, but never seen them before.



Hinoto-Ri's fabled flying dolphins: are they friend or foe? Do you want to try riding one? Or will you just let the majestic creatures continue past undaunted? Whatever happens, be prepared for your life to be changed forever!!!

▼ SCENARIO 4: What do all these buttons do?!

They told you about Q's . Truth be told, you didn't expect him to ask you for this, but he needs a guinea pig no seriously guinea pig to test out his newest vehicle. It's the 13th Hour, and the night sky above is stained red. He looks at you before you start driving.

"Now do be careful. I've installed all sorts of weapons inside the old girl. If you could bring it back in one piece?"

No problem, you think, before you realize you have no idea what all these buttons do. Now what?

...Wait.

...Do you even have a driving license......?

▼ SCENARIO 5: A Night in Hinoto-Ri

The 13th hour. Although technically the 25th hour of each day, it is the time when the world seems to change - the entire city turns a shade of dark red, demons emerge from the shadows, buildings shift and dangers lurk in every corner.

But it's your job to make this safer. Just be careful of what you run into --



...oookay. This might be a little trickier than normal.

▼ SCENARIO 6: Arrival

It's getting colder with each passing day. The nights are getting longer, which the demons seem to like, but it makes the city that more dangerous. Of course you wouldn't exactly know that because you just got here.

Maybe if you can find someone who knows exactly what is happening, you'll be able to confirm that it wasn't just a dream. Remember, the man you talked with (butterfly-mask guy?) said you were here as a Special Guest. If this is the city you're supposed to save, maybe he should have given you a map or something. Time to start exploring on your own...

[New to this place, Athena didn't really have a lot to go on. The last thing she needed was the sudden message that popped up on screen.]

Huh.... I wonder what this is about...

[Curious.... She scrolled down and stopped. She just kept staring at it in disbelief. Was that.... Was that a picture of her.... in her swimsuit? Did she even have a swimsuit anymore?]

Uhm....... I'd like to know how exactly anybody got this picture.....

[Glancing around now... Were people.... staring at her? Oh god! They couldn't have gotten that too! No! That's....]

There's nothing to see here!

/SHRIEK - I mean

[... There was someone else who saw that picture. Someone who's currently standing wide-eyed at the screen, and then frantically attempting to erase that message.]

[He. He doesn't need to see this, Cykes-dono. But he is distracted as he's standing in the middle of the sidewalk.]

[Yep... Blurted it out. Instead of focusing on the picture now, she rushes over to him instead.]

[Wait what what is going on - he looks down and down and down to see Athena, eyes going even wider.]

[It's been... a while for him, give him a moment.]

... This is Hinoto-Ri. I've been here for some time.

[Cykes-dono. She hasn't heard that in a while. It was actually kind of refreshing.]

Hinoto-Ri....? Where the heck is that....?

[Meanwhile, a completely unprepared Bobby rounds a corner and ends up walking straight into Athena's field of vision. Needless to say, he immediately curses his luck for that one, because it's not like he can go back the way he came without rousing suspicion. He needs to just... keep walking and pretend he doesn't recognize her, like he did with Blackquill.

Of all the people from back home to be stuck in this city with him, it's the guy who hates the Phantom with a fiery passion, the girl who can read people's emotions and one of the most notorious assassins in the world. What cruel irony.

If Athena will let him get close enough to pass by her, he'll shoot her a wide grin and an "In justice we trust!", but he doesn't expect he'll get that far without her making a fuss.]

[Looking up to see Bobby, her expression fell. I'm sorry, but you can hardly walk towards her and act like you don't know her. Just giving him a look...]

So you're here too.....

[No... She will never respond back with "In justice we trust" ever again.]

[He could walk past her and pretend he doesn't know her just fine. It's her words that make him slow to a stop, though. He peers at her with a look of surprise that seems genuine, but it's not his facial expressions he needs to worry about. It's his voice. He needs to put his training to good use and control his shreds of emotion better than he did in the courtroom, because he knows damn well she'll be listening.]

Oh, well yes. Of course I am! If I wasn't, how would you be talking to me?

[Shelly didn't even scroll down to the picture before deciding to stop looking at the news for today. Why would that even be in the news? And... is that young lady yelling at him?]

That is an eerily familiar demon floating through the city.

[That...is a good question. Sam almost runs into her, he's getting out from the market after stealing another bucket of fish for himself, and when he looks up, he's almost taken aback.]

D-Desco? [That had to be her, right?] Is that...you?

The demon woman sweeps her sword to one side as she begins to declaim in grand, stately tones.

"Indeed, We are the Ultimate Final Boss, Living Wea -"

Um. Wait. Is that...?

Have a faceful of cleavage as she tackles you in a hug, Sam.

"Big Broooo! Desco hasn't seen you in so, so long!"

[SERIOUSLY, WHAT.]

[He stammers, trying to push himself away because WHAT IS SERIOUSLY GOING ON. He manages to get some air and just stares at her like she's pink elephant with a million eyes instead of, well, Desco.]

W-what do you mean, so long? You were here, like, yesterday? When did you get, so, um, big?!

So I heard you like dumb AUs. Scenario 5!

So this is the 13th Hour. Well, then. He'd heard about the Dark Hour, true enough, but experiencing something like it for the first time? It's a little exciting. This sort of thing is why he's here, after all... in a lot of ways.

Everything ready? Alright. He heads out into the street, a determined look on his face.

"Okay, let's do-"

...oh.

Kanji stops. Stares.
He's ... not entirely sure he's supposed to be seeing this. That ... sure as hell isn't like the Shadows he knows.

yoooo :'D sorry this is kinda late!

Takakage's out during the Thirteenth Hour as usual. He found it rather therapeutic, actually - not only was he defending the city from demons, he was also able to earn a bit of keep.

The strategist drifted through the streets, clearing demons here and there - a few strayed too close to the apartments, and he dispatched them quickly. Not that he did not trust the anti-demon barrier... but just in case. And he came across Kanji, staring at a Succubus.

He frowned for a moment. Nothing good would reasonably come from this...

... so he simply blasts it into the air with a forceful jet of water (being careful to not hit Kanji), and his Persona finishes it off with a barrage of needle feathers.

"I hope you are unharmed?"

Hehe, no problem. :)

Seeing the blast rattling past him's enough to shake him out of his freeze - he blinks in surprise, looking over at the newcomer.

And... he's not sure what to think. Another Persona user as backup, brilliant! But - this isn't right. He shouldn't have to be the one to be saved. He didn't need saving...

"I was gonna get her, okay? Ya didn't need to..."

Takakage nodded slightly, his voice still calm.

"My apologies. That demon is a succubus, and men generally do not fare well against such foes. I considered it prudent to eliminate it immediately."

He allowed a few seconds' pause to let the implications sink in, then continued speaking. However, he did not sound condescending or in any way negative, merely concerned.

"If you intend to go out during the Thirteenth Hour... I hope you already know how to use your Persona? It can be quite dangerous..."
